Before you start
- Windows 10/11 with WSL, Minecraft Java Edition, and GTA V Legacy on Steam (story mode; the Enhanced edition is not supported).
- ScriptHookV with its ASI loader, ReShade 6.8.0 with add-on support, MSVC (Visual Studio 2022+ C++ tools), JDK 25 and Python 3.12.
- Comfort building two halves yourself: a Fabric mod (Java) and a ScriptHookV/ReShade add-on (C++) that talk over a local WebSocket and shared memory.
Find the right starting point
- Read the example's README end to end—especially its safety section—before building anything.
- Build the Fabric mod with Gradle, then fetch dependencies, build and install the GTA side with the provided scripts.
- Run Minecraft with the dedicated profile, start GTA V story mode with BattlEye off, and never take a modded game near GTA Online.
