Before you start
- Skyrim Special Edition on the Anniversary Edition runtime (1.6.x/1.7.x; developed on 1.7.104), plus SKSE64 and the Address Library for SKSE Plugins.
- A Microsoft account that owns Minecraft: Java Edition. The bundled Prism Launcher downloads Minecraft, Fabric and Java on first run.
- Windows PC with roughly 3 GB spare RAM and 1.5 GB disk for the Minecraft side. The author recommends the Alternate Start mod to skip Skyrim's scripted opening.
Find the right starting point
- Read the repository README, including its known-limitations list, before installing anything.
- Install the release zip with Mod Organizer 2 or Vortex like any SKSE plugin, then start Skyrim through SKSE.
- On first run, sign in to the Prism Launcher window when asked and let it fetch Minecraft; later runs are automatic.
